“Five months ago I started the biggest journey of my life. My doctor told me I was digging my own grave as I struggled with high blood pressure, inflammation in my joints, numb hands, trouble sleeping and the list goes on. I was 33 and weighed 120kg. At the five month mark, I now weigh 96kg and I can run, do push ups and pull ups which all seemed impossible when I started. I’ve traded in my size 107 shorts for 92s and can now comfortable fit a size medium tee when I used to be an extra large. Getting fit has drastically improved my sleep and productivity. Best of all, I can be the dad I always wanted to be. Thank you CrossFit North Harbour for helping me achieve this. Without the support and help of the coaches and all the fellow members this wouldn’t have been possible and future would be looking very different.”
Missy’s experience of our 8 week Whole Life Challenge. “The Whole Life Challenge has helped me immensely in setting up some really solid healthy lifestyle habits. What’s great about this challenge is it’s not only about having good nutrition and exercising, but brings in other aspects that are equally as important such as getting enough sleep, drinking enough water and improving your mobility. I’ve come away from this challenge feeling a lot healthier and stronger both physically and emotionally. I no longer have the want to eat processed sugary foods and am making great progress in the gym. The lifestyle habits I’ve created from this Challenge I feel I can maintain where I know I’ll continue to see great results! ”
Pete’s experience on our 8 week Whole Life Challenge. “What a great 8 weeks! Started off a bit rough but broke some bad habits and formed some good ones. The weekly lifestyle practices were a great addition to eating clean whole foods, drinking plenty of water and getting enough sleep. Great transformation over the challenge, will definitely be keeping this lifestyle up.”
Pete’s back squat jumped from 150kg – 167.5kg and his deadlift went from 170kg – 200kg.
